Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, 6th May 2024 – Global independent science and technology b2b communications agency, The Scott Partnership, today announces it has been honoured with The King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2024.

The Scott Partnership is one of 252 organisations nationally in the UK to be recognised with a prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise.

Kath Darlington, Founder and CEO of The Scott Partnership and Export Champion for Northern Powerhouse with the Department for Business and Trade explains, “Achieving a King’s Award is high accolade for any business. We are proud to have achieved such outstanding performance in International Trade to win recognition of our successful export strategy in international scientific markets. We have successfully traded in multiple geographies including North America, Europe (including France, Germany and the Czech Republic, Sweden, Switzerland) and Asia Pacific. Scientific markets are global in nature, so demand for support in b2b services from quality British businesses is strong.”

The Scott Partnership Ltd was originally founded in 1996 and is a global PR and marketing business operating in b2b markets, especially scientific and industrial high-tech industries. It currently employees 17 staff across three trading companies, The Scott Partnership Ltd, Kapler Communications Ltd and Phoenix MarCom Ltd.

The Scott Partnership is one of only 161 companies to be recognised for International Trade in the 2024 awards. Services and export are crucial to the UK economy and The Scott Partnership is proud to have exported scientific marketing services for over 25 years and to be working with the Department for Business and Trade to support export in the UK and its ambition to grow exports and international trade to £1 trillion by 2030[i]. Other companies have been recognised for Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity (through Social Mobility).

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II, by recognising outstanding UK businesses. The Award programme, now in its 58th year, is the most prestigious business award in the country, with successful businesses able to use the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.

Applications for the King’s Award for Enterprise 2024 open on the anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Coronation, 6th May 2024.5
